We thank you for choosing Mustang Island and Port Aransas as your next vacation destination. Our offices are located at 1115 S. Hwy 361 Suite D right next to the post office. Come by and see us, we have properties to suit every ones needs from 1-2 bedroom condos and town homes to 3 and 4 bedroom beach homes for the entire family. All of our homes are within 5 minutes of the beach and many are in beach access communities.

Port Aransas is located on a barrier Island and is accessible by 24 hr free ferry or the causeway. This unique town began in the 1880’s as a sleepy little fishing village and has blossomed into one of the best family vacation beach destinations in Texas. Port Aransas has 8 miles of wide unspoiled beaches protected by a line of naturally forming sand dunes. Our location on the Gulf Stream makes for just right temperatures and year round fun. Try your hand at surfing, shop in our many stores and boutiques, catch all types of fish at one of the best fishing places along the Gulf Coast, spend an afternoon teeing off at our first class golf course, find shells in the sand, or just grab a lawn chair and commune with the ocean and experience Island Time for yourself.

All our rentals are self catering and offer no maid service during the stay. We supply the start up supply of paper products. You will need to purchase or bring garbage bags, paper towels, coffee filters and bath tissue, as well as dishwashing soaps and bath soaps and laundry soap. For your convenience there is a grocery store on the Island and a Wal-Mart in Aransas Pass and an HEB Plus in Flour Bluff.

Some of our properties may have COMMUNITY POOLS & HOT TUBS: Community Swimming Pools and Hot Tubs are seasonal Memorial Day - Labor Day. Swimming Pools are not heated. Community Pools, Hot Tubs and Common grounds are not maintained by Starkey Properties, so we have no control over general upkeep, speed of repairs and overall maintenance. If there is a problem, please contact our office and we will report it to the on-site manager. Starkey Properties can not guarantee what condition the Pool or Hot Tub may be in however we do make every effort to provide you accurate information about these amenities both on our web site and at time of booking.

Don't worry if your property does not have boat parking. Island Moorings Marina has transient boat slips available by the day. In addition at the Port A City Marina, the parking lot next to the free boat ramp is free parking. Renters can leave their boats on trailers overnight, although at your own risk. Beware though if after 4-5 days, a boat trailer is left in one spot, it may be ticketed.

All our properties are fully furnished with bed and bath linens, you will need to bring your own beach towels. We do not offer daily towel service but many of our units have washers and dryers. All kitchens are equipped with pots, pans and dishes, and large & small appliances. Any specialty items you wish to cook with you will need to bring with you.
Boardwalk to the Beach - Any Port Aransas unit with the description board walk to beach means that the subdivision the home is located in supplies a board walk. The home you are renting is not necessarily near the board walk. Some homes may be 3-4 blocks from the boardwalk. In addition the board walk goes over 2 sets of dunes before reaching the beach. Walk to Beach - All Port Aransas properties are within a ½ mile from the beach. It can be walked but please be aware there are limited beach access roads so the walk may be closer to 1-2 miles depending on how far the access road is from your property. However you can drive on Texas beaches so no matter where your home is located you can always load up your car with family, beach toys and snacks and drive to the beach and park near the water. Be sure to plan accordingly so you can have the best stay possible.
